The International Cat Association (TICA) Norwegian Forest
Cat Breed Section is comprised of breeders and fanciers whose main goals are
the promotion and preservation of the Norwegian Forest Cat.
The responsibility of this breed section is to promote the Norwegian Forest
Cat by providing education and guidance to breeders, fanciers, clubs, and
judges associated with TICA.
The major focus of this group is the preservation of the Norwegian Forest
Cat with emphasis placed upon maintaining vigor and exceptional temperament
while maintaining type in accordance with the TICA Norwegian Forest Cat
Breed Standard.
